Amant Residency New York

Fall 2022

In the fall 2022 (Sept-Dec) we have been in residence at Amant, an art organization in New York. Since 2019 we have been developing the Echo Tarot Deck, a new reading tool inspired inspired by the poems of the African American-Japanese American poet Ai Ogawa. During the residency we have been gathering our reaserch material, and began assembling a preliminary deck and a short interpretation for each card. We have also furthered our study by performing experimental reading with artists and through informal study sessions.
